Golf Club Brian Riley ( Bradford Probus )

Are you looking to get out onto the greens? Want to have a good time with friends and chase a white ball around on a manicured lawn? Then sign up for the Golf Club at our General Meeting. The more the merrier. We would love to have you join us. Open to all three Probus clubs.

Rummikub Clubs Barbara Russell
There are now three Rummikub groups and they are full but if you’d like to try us out, add your name to the Rummikub Wait/Spare list on the sign-up table. Rummikub is an easy game played with tiles and is a terrific way to get to know your fellow members. We chat as much as play.

Book Clubs ( 1- Barbara Russell ) ( 2- Pat McGeachie )
We have two very active book clubs.  We read a variety of genres, from historical fiction to biographies but mostly novels.  We read books we wouldn’t necessarily have read on our own and always look forward to hearing the others’ thoughts and opinions.  This leads to lots of really good discussions and is such a great  way of really getting to know our fellow Probus members

Board Games Group Barbara RussellKaren Murray

If you’re ever at the Elden and hear laughter coming from the dining room, it could be us.  We meet on the second Wednesday of the month .  If the idea of board games is intimidating, fear not, we love to help each other and actually play all sorts of games like Pictionary, Charades, Scruples etc.  Everyone is welcome so put your name on the sign-up sheet at meetings, even if you’d just like to try us out..

Mahjong Club Anne Rogers

Mahjong is becoming very popular. It’s a Chinese game played , usually by 4 people, with 144 rectangular pieces called Tiles. The object of the game is to collect winning sets of these Tiles, similar to Gin or Rummy.
